That's a favorite moment of mine as well, Dorvid. Not only because of the Stroszek quote, but because Tom reversed his decision and gomped the caller right after the caller gave me a big, "Yay, Mike!" after I gave his quote the thumb's up. I've already listened to it several times. It's right up there with the Super Dave wigs moment and the Cowboy Star review for my go to moment for a quick laugh.

I love Tom's laugh right after the gunshot at the end of Cowboy Star. He sounds caught off guard but his reaction is pure delight.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

i like the part in the Jock Squad call, where wurster is describing their uniform and he cracks for just a second.  he held it back though.

April 4, 2008 - 2:53:14 - "I'm gonna smash your head into the Colgate Clock."

CLASSIC! :D
I think there should be a "Tom Laffs" category in next year's awards.

Don't forget 3/25/08 - 2:53:34-44 (almost 10 full seconds of Tom losing it!)

"My nephew's writing a book. He's writing some episode guide to that HBO Tell Me You Love Me."

It looks like 2:53 is Tom's Happy Minute.

I just remembered: the Bob Bogle, Jr. call. When Tom goes, "Who's Bob Bogle, Jr.?", and 'Bob' responds, "Well, I'm Bob Bogle, Sr.'s son, idiot." Tom has a lot of trouble continuing the conversation at that point. It's just the best.

That call, with "The Fountaining," is an underappreciated gem.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

A slight related tangent...

I don't have any specific shows in mind, but it is always a welcome surprise to hear the Mrs., Jillian Barberie, laughing in the background of the studio.

I was just listening to the first Zeph call and at the very end, when Tom is asking Zeph to spell his name, JW totally cracks. Tom does a good job of covering it up because he's laughing himself, but that's the only time I've ever actually heard JW laugh during a call. Judge Montgomery Davies is close but he manages to cut himself off before he starts laughing.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Tom laughed during last night's show more than I've ever heard him before. I think talking about bad kids and james' toupee really tickles his funny bone.
