I heard he just stopped living.

The guitar that 'The Duchess' played was also not too shabby.

"Jew's harp" when I was growing up.  Also, apparently:

England - Gewgaw
Germany - Maultrommel (which means mouth drum)
Japan - Koukin
Russia - Vargan
Siberia - Khomus
Philippines - Kumbing and kubing
Italy - Scacciapensieri
Norway - munnharpa or munnharpe
France - guimbarde
Bali - genggong

Read more here.  Quite interesting.

I really remember being little and wanting one of those things, so my Mom took me to Ostanek's in St. Catharines (the accordion/guitar shop run by three-time Polka category grammy winner Walter Ostanek). Mom was pretty sure that it was called a Jew's Harp too.

Mom: Do you have Jew's Harps?

Clerk: Oh no. I can't sell you one of those.

(pause as he slides open the drawer in front of him)

Clerk: But I can sell you a Snoopy harp!

Oh Dave, what are we to do with you? Steve is playing a lap steel in that video, a pedal steel has pedals that change the tuning as seen here, even though he's not using the pedals:

That reminds me, I need to pick up my cape from the dry cleaner.

Singing Saw

The other girl in this band plays the computer.

Yeah, computer and singing saw are tied for first in my book!  Add some Bjork vocals and you've got yourself some avant garde music.
