Wait--whhaaaaattttt???...you mean I could have gotten another t shirt, too--an FMU one? Didn't know that was a possibility. I just got Tom's Fun Pack, for $75. That gave me the crumpled poster, broken CD, cool little sticker and the Scarface tee.

I'm actually laughing out loud right now, at how badly I did this. It's like the spirit of Hesh took me over.

There was a separate section on the form where you could indicate whether you wanted the other T-shirt and FMU bumper sticker. I am bummed on your behalf.

Hell, I didn't notice that either.  Maybe the online payment form didn't offer that option b/c I normally read everything on a form and I would have defintely checked that box or whatever.  Still haven't seen my Fun Pack yet.

I'd e-mail them with my sad story if I were you (i.e., folksnake or totep).  I bet Megan would take pity on you.

I didn't know this either! I pledged online using paypal. The pledge page says "Please choose any and all items that you are eligible for (including items offered at lower pledge levels)." I think I'm gonna email Megan.

That's all very weird. I clearly have a completely flawed idea of how this premium thing works...I thought that the more you pledge, the better the premium, and that was the reward for pledging more--not that you got the better premium AND everything below it in value...I've sent off an email to Megan, in any event.

I have to say, despite my whining here, I'm generally against crying over spilt milk, especially when it comes to charitable causes like FMU. Mixed feelings about even mentioning this!

yeah, i was a little disappointed in how crumpled up my poster was too.  it's so freakin' awesome and i was just waiting for it to come so i could frame it, but it's got really intense crease lines in it.  thankfully, the cd wasn't broken, but i just thought it was sort of a bad idea to shove everything in an envelope, and i don't get why you'd only get a box if you ordered a different shirt.

that said, i'm still glad i donated the money of course, i just wish my poster was perfect, because i really really love it.

We didn't get a different shirt, we got both shirts; thus the need for a larger, boxier container. I can't imagine they would not set this straight; I mean, not to be crass, but you don't grow a donor base with bug spray. Or something.

Who drew the awesome Tom V Everyone sticker with finger crease arrows?  Love it, love it, love it.

Update:
The folks at FMU are, of course, the best. Just got an email from Megan; she's going to make it all better for me.

Thanks to those who pointed me in that direction--I may not have bothered otherwise.

They are the best. I once ordered a t-shirt from the WFMU crapola center. It took a few days for them to search for it in their warehouse and they finally determined that they didn't have the medium size that I had specified on my order. I told them a small will do fine. They sent the small t-shirt along with a medium size t-shirt of a different style and the package also had a note from them saying sorry for the trouble.

Not at all. Superpledgers are relegated to late summer, apparently. I still cross my fingers every time I come home from work, though. I want that fucking decoder pen!

I don't have mine either. I'm also getting the 7SD premium, so I'm hoping to get everything by next year's marathon.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I admittedly only sent my pledge money relatively recently (due to circumstances beyond my control), so I'm not expecting anything for a while. Still, I'm eagerly awaiting the Fun Pack's arrival.

Post reactions to your shirt:
(in the spirit of father's day...)

Me to my Dad: "Hey Dad do you like my shirt?"
Dad: ::giggles::
Me, a bit surprised: "Sooo, you get the joke?"
Dad: "Yeah!"
Me, skeptical: "Okay then what is it??"
Dad: "I don't have to spell it out"
Me: .....
Dad: "The joke is that the gun is his little friend"
Me, laughing: "No! The joke is that it is misquoted!"
Dad, befuddled: "Well, what is it supposed to be?"
Me: "Say Hello to my little friend"
Dad, frustrated: "Well it means the same thing"
Me: "Yeah, but is is funny to be misquoted because it is so widely quoted"
Dad, getting frustrated: "Yeah, well, I've never quoted it!"

WE BONDED.
