Not knowing anything about Lil' Wayne I was wondering if Tom was serious or not. 

Lil' Wayne lost me when I heard that his name was Lil' Wayne.  I figured I didn't need to investigate any further.

I can't believe I missed this argument and now its over. Around page 3 or 4, I had some great points about Wyclef. Junk did it better than me though.

But I will say this, Paul Barman is in the top 5 worst rappers of all time. Any defense of someone should never proclaim that they have a love for the music. So do millions and millions of other people. A palatable voice and comfort with rhythm are two requirements for rappers. If you have those two things and hate hip-hop more than anything in the world, you will be better than someone who has a love of the art.

Agreed. My intention in asking that questions was purely out of curiosity, not to give this thread a second wind. Obviously I should've known that this would happen, so sorry about that.
