I went to the CD Release party for this last night, and it was pretty great-- they're my new favorite Seattle-area band. They're FUN. It sounds really simplistic to put it like that, but I can't think of a better way to describe them.

MAN I would love to have that sign.
He's this soulless bastard from Siberia. I once saw him shove Fred Savage's face in a toilet.

Already had a Twitter conversation about this, but talk about a weird find (at a thrift store in Ithaca).  I had no idea it existed.  It's mostly songs that were later reissued on VU and Another View, but with 70s-glam style production a la Transformer.  Two members of Yes are even credited on it.

Damn that's a fine album cover.

Record fair find.  Pretty widely available on music blogs, not the greatest sound quality, but still pretty neat.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

I was so excited for this one. I gave it a listen at work when it was streaming a while ago. I have yet to buy it because I was so disappointed in what I heard. And I love those guys. I will try it again though.

Oh neat. We just got this CD in at my station. I'll have to give it a listen tonight.
