Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

Just reliving how great this is and realizing that if a band today released this as their debut they'd be dropped before they could make a second album.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

An interesting album, to say the least.

I think you were one of the people who turned me on to their first three albums (and Live at Budakon [sp?]).  Great purchases.  Thanks.

Anyhoozle.  For some reason, I am listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd "Gimme Back My Bullets."

Fuck Buttons - Tarot Sport

It's really great and was one of my favorite albums of 2009.

You're welcome! Glad you liked them.

I am currently obsessing over this Jay Reatard version of "Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle." I never paid much attention to Nirvana's original, but this is a masterpiece. I certainly don't remember it being such a great song.

Yeah, I have to agree, MoS, Jay's got a killer guitar solo in it, which makes me want to stop playing guitar. Also, in the Nirvana version, not to make anyone puke in their morning fruit loops or anything, I'm hearing a Nickleback quality to Kurt's voice - ugh.

Clint Mansell's soundtrack to Moon. He's one of the best movie composers out there right now. His soundtrack to The Fountain in particular is outstanding but Moon is pretty great as well.
