On the most recent flight I was on, the movie was The Bucket List. I didn't really watch or listen, but every time I glanced up I was reminded of the guy on a flight months earlier (before the movie came out) watching a pirated version on his laptop at like 8 AM and telling everyone around him how awesome it was.

I watched this Bucket list 4 times over 24 hours of flight time.

When the guys bloody catheter started spraying about I wanted to open the airlock door.

Was there actually a bloody catheter spraying scene?  I might have to rent it now.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

I don't care for your tone regarding ...

I love it, jbissell. I think your response is a template we should all use to express our disapproval of others' posts.

Some of the movies listed above seem not all that bad to me.  Christmas With the Kranks, The Santa Clause, etc. just have to be terrible (I've never seen them, but somehow, I just know.)  But Sliding Doors?  School of Rock?  Not great, but I've watched them and enjoyed them a little bit.  But if I was on a flight and these movies were shown, I'd do a little dance, because those movies seem actually better than the typical awful fare.  I couldn't promise that I would watch them, since I usually can't be bothered to put down whatever book I'm reading at the time.

There was indeed!

I made the mistake of watching that movie with my parents.  I was just kind of scoffing at it while they were crying (because of "how much it hits home").  Talk about uncomfortable.  Yeesh.

Do they brag about all the Emmy nominations Two and a Half Men gets?
