Fredrixx is younger looking than his voice would indicate.  From what I can tell.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Get with it, germaphobia isn't irrational. We've all been assaulted by germs countless times. If you aren't willing to foot flush, use your elbow or wrist or a wad of toilet paper... amything but your filthy digits.  And while you're at it wipe down your doorknobs and computer keyboards.

Or you could just wash your hands after touching the toilet handle (which you should be doing anyway after using the bathroom).

I was going to email Tom an mp3 of my favorite moment from a song but was scared I'd go to federal prison for the rest of my life for digitally distributing copyrighted material.  :-[

Anyway, it's from The Beatles A Hard Day's Night album, when the snare drum comes in after John sings the intro on "If I Fell." The timbre and timing of it are perfect (to me.) Probably because I've listened to that album one million times.

I missed the last ten minutes of the show. What was this AV Club slide whistle that people on Twitter were talking about?

I loved the slide whistle. I had somehow never consciously registered how corny the AV Club commenters are.

Other highlights: the cereal talk, the cat-naming, Gary the Squirrel explaining "low rent," Michael K., Tom asking if Lincoln really sounded like that.

Great show!

I for one would love to hear more from "Edgar" in the future.   "AP Mike's bringing his knife in.  I'm bringing MY knife.  Might be a KNIFE FIGHT!"

Good stuff.

During talk of Ringo's All-Starr Band at around 2hr 40min: the image of Ringo listening to Billy Squire's "The Stroke" for the first time will stay with me.
Vandalism! Sick vandalism! When I get my hands on the little punks I'm gonna hang them by their Buster Browns!

I felt honored when he mentioned me by name for "I Know Where Sid Barrett Lives" by Television Personalities.

"Smash Mouth invades the culinary world with a rock n' roll cookbook. "Recipes From The Road" is a unique fusion of delicious recipes, hilarious real life road stories straight from "The Mouth", candid road photos, and guest recipes from pop icons such as Guy Fieri (Diners Drive-ins and Dives), Sammy Hagar (Van Halen), Jerome Bettis (Pittsburgh Steelers), and Michael Symon (Iron Chef, The Chew), all displayed in a beautiful, eye-popping layout"

I'm gonna complain and whine a bit here, but why is the podcast not up yet?

I didn't know Tom was responsible for that aspect. But it's up now and all is right with the world.
