Did Mark The Arm sign off with a John Boy and Billy reference?

I thought the woman that sings was Julie Klausner putting on a fake voice.
I thought she was just a random weirdo who would call in to any show that would let her sing on the air, but apparently she at least listens to the show which I think is more than we can say for Spike.

Bride of Spike.

How did it get by Tom that not only is Billy Joel headlining Bonnaroo, so are MUMFORD & SONS????

But this is priceless!

Was just listening to the "Tom's Brother Ron Calls" bit and love that Tom does the joke Tom Waits did on Fernwood Tonight! (or was it America Tonight by that point?)

I laughed out loud when Tom asked the British American FOT newcomer returning to L.A. whether he was going to come here and fight guys like in "The Limey," one of my favorites.  I love The Best Show's emphasis on getting into fights and knocking people's blocks off.

That was me, so i went ahead and fixed that statement. I'm a US citizen, I just grew up in the UK!

"You know it's like, if you had a choice between 4 slobs dressed as lumberjacks and 4 shirtless good looking guys in tight black jeans and high-top leather sneakers, who would you choose?"

That had me cracking up too.

I laughed out loud when Tom played the part of the Bayonne movie bootlegger.

Best: The Arm calling Tom "Tim Schlorpolin," aka the 3-time podcasting champion and host of Comedians in Cargo Shorts Getting Custard.

My favorite moment was when he was talking about getting depressed during the Seahawks (Sorry, not sure if that's right. Not a sports dude) game. I know normally these moments are funny moments instead of poignant but I know exactly what he's talking about.

Those moods where it's like you're going through life wearing dark blue tinted glasses... stuff that you would normally get excited about makes you sad. Ugh... been there too many times in my life.

Outside of the the JW call: "Alright, how do you like that Irish rock!?", I'd say the best moment came from the caller from Minneapolis' "Prince Tidbits", which should become the name of a Newbridge character.

The worst was the Graham Parker caller, just an AV club comment coming to life in the form of a Best Show caller. Also, 90% of the callers were dudes who all kinda sounded alike.
Vandalism! Sick vandalism! When I get my hands on the little punks I'm gonna hang them by their Buster Browns!
