The Best/Worst Moments of last night's show

I think my new favorite best show thing is the conspiratorial tone Tom applies to "they even party there!" in the Vegas ads.

I am mildly surprised that Tom doesn't have AP Mike read any ad copy, especially the Vegas ads.

Fave: Charley Morgan's "Hey Corny!" story.  I love the way his calls always seem on the verge of oblivious disaster but he always pulls it back in to coherence- his "Fuck it!" not withstanding. And also he brings a different vibe to the new Best Show- kinda like the wilder callers of the early days on WFMU.

Also Tom's "You are so strange!" to AP Mike.

PS when one does an image search of Charley Morgan actor in google, the 4th pic is Mike Liske.

I have to admit, I was not excited hearing Charley Morgan call in again. But I think he gets the show, and Mike's reaction at hearing him drop an F-bomb was wonderful. He also did a great job reading Mike's story.

The beard-and-plaid crew is out in full force concern trolling Mike on Twitter over the yoga pants comment: "You can work your way back from this, Mike" (said in all seriousness) Where do these people come from? I hope that when "Live from Dealey Plaza" comes out it has a big old trigger warning for all these very sensitive folks.
