I'm sitting in a bar full of Germans just now and the entire Pet Sounds album is playing. The Germans seem to know all the words. For a second, I tried to imagine if the Beach Boys themselves had been German and what that would have sounded like. Then my mind wondered to the imaginary sounds of a Mexican Cat Power and a Japanese Lionel Richie and I started chuckling to myself enough to attract attention.
Any other funny-to-imagine band/nationalities?
