This was a stronger jolt than my morning coffee. Julia Child was a OSS spy for the US in WWII. That's amazing.

Even better was the sidenote halfway through the article that revealed that Stuart Copeland's father was also under CIA employ.

There was some documentary about her years ago that reported she worked for the OSS in Paris.  I don't think it came right out and said she'd been a spy, but, come on, the OSS in Paris?

This is great news because not only do I do a pretty good Julia Child impersonation, but I also work with microfilm, so later when my boss leaves I can reenact her role as a spy!

The fact that Stewart Copeland's dad was in the CIA has been out there for years, too. 

Any other interesting nuggets?  I didn't know that about Julia Child, but I loved learning that.  I love espionage.
