Sending promos to WFMU DJs

Anyone have experience sending their band's CD to WFMU? Do they allow individual DJs to receive them through the station's mail, or do they all get put in one slush pile?

I'm sure you can send them c/o to a specific dj, isn't that how most stations operate?

i think you're supposed to send it c/o the music director, who is the person who is in charge of reviewing the record (or delegating this responsibility) and deciding if it will go in the library.
that's what my band did and we got played on FMU.

I'd send it to a few of your favorite d.j.'s directly, but make sure to also send one to the program director (is it brian turner still? or ken freed man now? I'm not sure) who will vet it and recommend it to people they think may like it.

Brian Turner's still music director, though Ken's taken over as program director.

Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.
