Now that the weather is terrible, I have a lot of free time on my hands, and I figured I'd spend some of it talking about my favorite podcast.

FUN FACT:

3 people from my high school have been GOMPed.

Ah, you Goshen kids.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Hey there I'm John, nice to meet everyone. I found an episode of the show on an ipod I borrowed from my friend and now I'm hooked! Almost finished catching up with the '08 episodes.

Yeah, this was funny when I posted it 13.5 hours before.   Get your own jokes, MoS!

Wait, no it wasn't funny even when I posted it.  Sorry.

Hey guys. Just wanted to say hi. I've been listening for a year and a half or so. Recently, I've been catching up on the archives. I'm unemployed and pretty depressed and the old shows have been keeping me going. Somehow listening to hours of old Best Shows makes me feel a little less like a loser. At least until my Internet gets cut off...

i work ten hour days and 6-9 of those hours are spent listening to the best show.  normally, it's nine.  it helps the day feel less arbitrary and keeps me from walking out.

Hello, Friends of Tom!  Jeremy from Westland, MI.  A friend introduced me to the show a couple months ago and I've been listening ever since.

Hey there, FOTs! I'm Andrew from Seattle-- I also have only been listening for a few months, but I've been working my way through the archives at a steady pace, thanks to my easy-peasey desk job.

Hey, guys! I'm Raj (from Bristow, VA). Yeah, I've called TBS a handful o' times. Listened to the show on-n-off for past four years, blog for 7SD. Read through this forum, seems like a strong social nerve that I'd like to stop by.

Big shout-outs to Jason Grote and David from Virginia, FOTs who've I've met face-to-face, FB buddy Miami Laurie, and Petey who I've corresponded via mail. and Big "nice to meet-ya's" to evreyFOT else.

And a tip-o-the-hat to Tom. The shows are going great. Please don't stop.

Howdy. I'm Keith Whitener. I'm a regular over at AST and have been a card carrying FOT for 3 years. I'm 21, finishing up my associates degree in philosophy, and I enjoy writing.

Todd from New Orleans, here.  Been listening for at least 6 months after hearing Tom's interview on TSOYW.  Now I've all but forgotten that old show and I'm hooked to TBS.  I really think it's got its nose on the pulsebeat of my generation's heartbrain.  Thanks, Tom!
