It's all good. Think of it this way: more time for serious drinking and tattooing.

I've just finished designing my new tattoo. It will be a picture of Jim Croce's Life and Times on cassete. If I have money left over, maybe we can add the ribbon coming out of it to spell "Doritos." I should use tonight's time wisely and have that inked on my forearm.

It pains me to say this, AIP, but you sound like a guy who's lost touch with the common people.

Rats.  I set up my work hours and class schedule with the distinct goal of having Tuesday nights off.  I also postponed a date.

This is the first week my schedule is in place, and no show.

That's my life, kids.  I can't wait for next week!

I can only assume that Tom is in Denver protesting for Hillary Clinton?

Does anyone else feel that the real convention is a let-down after the Newbridge convention?  It seems like guests at the DNC can leave to go to the bathroom without having to check with their balance-mate.  How dull.

I think the GOP convention will be much more in line with Newbridge tradition. Arnold Schwarzenegger will go on stage and do reps, Dennis Hastert and Rush Limbaugh will have a hoagie-eating contest, President Bush will mispronounce several words, John McCain will whip out his chain, and at the end, Dick Cheney will get barged.

GREAT tattoo design, but would be better with a tall glass of milk next to them.  Or maybe a Yuengling?

There were definitely no Balance Buddies at the Democratic Convention.   Frankly, I think a real opportunity for uniting the party was overlooked.

I could use some best show tonight, but I wouldn't be able to listen live anyway.  Still, my life is kind of in the turlet, I could've used a pick-me-up.   :'(

Back in NYC after a trip out west, missing the Best Show already. I'm with Sarah, I think last week was worth about three or four regular episodes. That doesn't mean that the show should take a three week vacation, just that it's riding a huge wave.

I had a great week. I got married!!!  I couldn't be happier. Had to share my news with everybody.

On an unrelated note -- JJ, knowing how it feels to have down weeks and months, I hope things improve for ya soon.
