I love The Dusty Show. Clay Pigeon's radio persona either has, or maintains the facade of respect for every individual he speaks to. It's a refreshing break. Almost as if Mister Rogers addressed only adults, but without a drip of irony or sarcasm.
To my horror, I called him on the air about 8 or 9 weeks ago, and accidentally opened with "Hey Dusty" although I had been repeating "his name is CLAY" in my head like a mantra. He assumed I was a crank caller, as if I was going to scream something moronic like "you've been DAVED" and hang up, but once I convinced him otherwise, he was nice as could be.
