In the future, as in the past, the height of a man's pants denotes rank.  Thus, Barry is the leader, followed at a great distance by Robin, who is in turn just slightly above Maurice.

Robin would come to greatly resent Barry because of this, leading him to split off from the brothers Gibb and create his own faction, raising an army of mutated scavagers to rule the future wasteland.

Barry and Maurice were forced to fall back and fortify themselves against the Robin-led survivors, but the lack of electricity and working technology meant they had to rely on some outdated weaponry and equipment if they wanted to last against their brother's violent, oppresive reign.

I think it's pretty clear by now that the Bee Gees' initial story ideas for Saturday Night Fever were stolen for and recycled for Doomsday.
This may be the year I will disappear.

I'm pretty sure he didn't say nothing about "strutting away our hours" ... but it sounds like something he would have said, don't it?

Obviously you never saw Robin Gibb's production of As You Like It.   >:(

That Shakespeare was always Jive Talkin' .

I will use this thread to ask an important question: The Bee Gees' video for Stayin' Alive - set in a post-apocalyptic future or not?

If so, how did the world end in this reality?

I have a theory that involves Ted Leo and the Pharmacists just around the corner at the beach, near makeshift barbecue pits dug into the sand filled with burning surplus cardboard boxes, tearfully waiting for a rat to drift down into their waiting traps.

The film version can be called "28 Saturday Nights Later".

What's a vegan to do in a post-apocalyptic world?!!! Oh the horror! THE HORROR!!

Wes, this may blow your mind.

Quote
Bee Gees hit could save your life

US medics have found the Bee Gees' 1977 disco anthem, Stayin' Alive, provides an ideal beat to follow when performing CPR on a victim of a cardiac arrest.

I saw that, Samir. What can I say:  synchronicity, baby (whoops, wrong supergroup).
