On last week's show, Tom said he would talk to Hodgman about putting out a book. And, Tom, you may not know this, but John Hodgman, prior to his current position as a Famous Minor Television Personality, was a professional literary agent. Certainly John can help get you a deal, Tom. After all John Hodgman got a book deal for Bruce Campbell.

    Since I won't be able to listen/call, because of my work hours, I was wondering if I could put out a request to see if someone might ask John Hodgman if he's seen the online series of Marvel/DC videos featuring action figures from both brands going back and forth, inspired by the Mac/PC commercial series he's a part of, and if so what he thinks of them.  I am not the maker, or otherwise affiliated with the videos.  Just a fan of them and action figures, in general, and I thought it'd be cool to see if one half of the inspiration was aware of it, as well as his personal opinion of them.  They do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but who knows?  Thanks.

Ken Plume's requested that people send his mum postcards to wish her well, as she has cancer.

However, I want to keep my mother’s spirits up, and I want to utilize the power of this here internet to whom my livelihood has been intertwined for almost 15 years. And not only am I hoping for the assistance of the thousands of people whom I’ve befriended and worked with in those years, but also the kindness of total strangers.

With that in mind, I’m hoping that whoever reads this post - or has it forwarded to them - will take some of their valuable time and help me keep my mother’s spirits bright and her outlook optimistic.
