Congratulations!  I strongly feel that MGMT's "Electric Feel" would make a fine choice to kick off the wedding.  Your description of the venue and games makes it seem like a wedding anyone would be interested in attending.

The best wedding music I've heard was "The Girl from Ipanema" which was sung by the crowd of people at the wedding, while the couple cut through them. The ceremony was in the center of the crowd.
hey what's up

Seriously, "Sweetness" by Yes.

Don't judge.

Maybe that'll be for when I have my civic union ceremony with Christina The Yes Fan.

A friend of mine insists he's getting married to 'Plays John Cassavetes' by Ekkehard Ehlers - http://www.last.fm/music/Ekkehard+Ehlers - which is here. It's a really beautiful piece. Maybe falls a little heavily on the serious side, but it's got that wonderful undercurrent of joy and tempestuousness and harmonic balance that any good wedding (in a film, in my mind) has.

Have a listen, it's a good song whether you're getting hitched or not.

I love that song. It's included on DJ/Rupture's Uproot mix too.

Actually, C.T.Y.F. doesn't even like that song.  But I do.  Actually CTYF doesn't really like Yes all that much anymore.

My fiancee's almost sold on the Amina song. AM Thomas, thanks for your offer, I will check the Amazon mp3 store and see what I can find, and if not, maybe PM you?

Makes me happy to know my wedding will have a little touch of Scharpling/FOT in it. Thanks again guys. This one's a W.

this is great; i love that people are getting married.  the concept of people being happy with a counterpart, whether they get married or not, makes me feel good inside.

so, who wants to get married; ive got no new year's eve plans, "i keep it loose."

I cannot think of a good song. Stumped!

But congratulations to you, sir, and to the future Mrs. Cutout.

The 2001, A Space Odyssey theme would be great if you could time the presentation of the ring and the kiss to fall on the crescendos.
