Any FOT's going to be at the SXSW film festival?  Those of you who were in the chat yesterday at 5:10 (8:10 est) already know that I got a short film in, and I'm going. Would love to meet FOTs from around the globe.  Also interested in pooling resources for hotel or shacking up with someone in Austin.

i was going to be in austin the week after SXSW but i was thinking of making it during the festivities this year.  granted, we've already met and im old news, but if im there during SXSW i'll throw in some cash for a room (assuming your lady is cool with it, and if so, no offense, there's always lots of drinking to be done).

Looks like I'm heading down there!

I'm not getting a wristband this year or anything (money is tight, yo) but my boyfriend is playing some unofficial shows with his bluegrass band Triggertown. The guitarist in one of my bands is now in Beep Beep and they'll be playing down there, too. I'm just gonna chance it without the wristband and go to the free stuff or no-wristband-required stuff.

I went a few years ago and felt like I didn't go to $150 worth of shows. It's hard to get into a lot of that stuff unless you want to spend the day waiting in line. Well ... I did see Robyn Hitchcock twice and that's worth everything to me so I guess it was worth the money ... in my heart.

Anyone else decide to go?

No, i got a friend from Dallas joining us but we'd like to get 2 more people in our room.  We're there for the film part only from the 13th-17th.
