I was just going to post Ke$ha, too. Though the song I saw a video for was Tik Tok. Had never heard of her before and was astounded to find out that she's actually popular. Lamest rhymes ever. And, as you know, there are a lot of lame rhymes out there.

This will now be stuck in your head for the next 20 years. If I'm suffering, everyone has to suffer.

Wow... (R. always leaves me speechless.)

I'm gonna go with the One Week by The Barenaked Ladies. I've made 37 karaoke attempts at completing this without stumbling

The Legit "I Wanna Take You Home"

I couldn't watch all of this. Someone let me know how it turns out.

There are some things that one can't unsee. What we have hear is nearly an audible date rape, and now I am left feeling like a creep because I victimized myself by watching the video to its' conclusion.

This the Legit video and Brokencyde's (identical) video both just made me think what a threadbare, lackluster conception of 'the good life' and decadence these guys have. A McMansion and an SUV, huh? Dream bigger dreams, kids.

I dare you to pick just one person in that video you want to punch. It's impossible.

In 8 years we've gone from greasy weirdos wanting to be Giorgio Moroder and halfway succeeding to greasier weirdos wanting to be Gucci Mane and failing spectacularly. I miss Fischerspooner. For some reason.

Amazingly, about halfway through, it gets even worse.

The Gran Torino "theme song" that Clint Eastwood performs at the end of that movie....

A very schrewd choice...

I'm gonna go with the One Week by The Barenaked Ladies.

A good one as well. It didn't merit any where near the radio play it got...

Still, I think I'm going to go with the timess suck nugget, "My Own Prison" by Creed. Sure, they're an easy target but that song gets even more derivative with time...

But "Wind Beneath My Wings" is right down there as well...
"Paradise is exactly like where you are right now. Only much, much better."

"This heaven gives me migraine."

OK, The Legit track is punchable, absolutely.. but there's far worse than that.  The song is just lettuce and salt. Kinda there, making no worthwhile impression.

Ugh. I have a late entry. There's a new Train song called "Hey Soul Sister." First 2 lines: "Your lipstick stains/on the front lobe of my left-side brains"

It's that fatal combo of equally egregious lyrics and music. The whole thing sounds like muzak for a vacation to Hawai'i commercial. Eck.
It's the latest thing to be nowhere. You can turn into the wallpaper.

This actually works really well when you imagine it as a Mr. Show sketch. The bongo guy is a taller version of David Cross. The rapping sends me over the edge.
