I thought that the rapper dude who shows up in the car was MC Skat Cat, the animated cat who filthily dances with Paula Abdul in the "Opposites Attract" video, except reanimated and turned into human form.

Turns out I was wrong!

It's Ark Music Factory producer Patrice "Pato" Wilson and he has quite the biography. It's eerily similar to that of an arms dealer/blood diamond smuggler.

My friend linked a youtube of a "screamo" version of friday. I can't figure out how to link it but its definitley out there. I'm busting my gut just thinking about the tongue and cheek juxtaposition of kids music with...uh, slightly older kids music.
