Patton Oswalt in Athens 2/6
« on: February 07, 2009, 01:57:57 PM »
I really haven't been on the forum in a while, but I thought I would take this time to post a picture (thanks to Patton actually suggesting it). The show was awesome, the air was tense with excitement, and it was a good night. Many thanks to Patton for a great show! AND he was really nice!
And I haven't made up my mind whether or not my wearing an WFMU shirt to the show was cheesy. Well, either way, you can't blame me, I'm young.

Why is Patton giving you a urine sample?

No real reason why it would be at all.  Patton has dozens of projects he has been more firmly tied to than WFMU, so wearing the shirt isn't overtly fangirlish at all, as far as I'm concerned.  :)

Glad you had a good time, Bonnie!
Not glad that Patton didn't come further south than GA.
But it's ok.

I bet Patton suggested you post the picture because he is trying to help his friend Travis get in on the WFMU bucks.

I was kind of wondering about that also...have I missed some significance of the letter "A"?

i bought tickets to see Patton play two blocks from my house.  im pretty excited- the last time he played this club was years ago when my best pal Julie (apotatojudge) was visiting.  when she died, Patton dedicated a comedians of comedy episode to her.

ive been waiting for years to buy him a drink...it's the only thing i can think of doing/least i could do for someone who paid an awesome tribute to a close friend/budding comedian.  i am looking forward to being humbled tomorrow nite.

I have an extra ticket to Patton's cd/dvd taping in DC Feb 28.  If anyone's interested you can meet me there.
