i've aired my dirty laundry for inappropriate mom news on here before- i call her cancer mom.
we talked about that title the other day (since she is now remission mom) and agreed that its vulgarity was obnoxious enough to make the severity of the situation easier to handle. once, i made her dinner, cleaned the house, let her rest, and i told her the next time i wanted a vacation i would get cancer. she laughed.
ive gotten emails from friends who think its offensive/rude, but M.O.M. lets me do it and she's the only person i'm worried about offending. yeah, we're sick, but we made cancer a light subject because it's fucking scary (and quite depressing). luckily, she's a tough lady.
