You're referring to this video, I presume.

This is actually really funny. But I'm sure Roger Ailes had a word or two with Shepard Smith afterwards.

All of what you said is probably true. However, I can't imagine that anyone who works at Fox News is too unhappy about Beck. Like it or not, he draws viewers. And when he does well, everyone at Fox News does well.

And I'm sure the Simpsons writers have to be appreciative that MacFarlane's shows have helped cement their placement on the night. Last year's Simpsons ToH episode got the highest ratings they've had in years. Simpsons is higher, obviously, but the entire night got reinvigorated thanks to new Family Guy. Too bad Arrested Development never lasted long enough to see if it would have benefited. But regardless, I think it's the same kind of feeling, a mixture of appreciation, jealousy and disdain.

with the cult following and the dvd sales, i continue to be surprised that its never come back on the air.  family guy came back and its done no one any good.  im hoping the movie will light a fire (if it even sees the light of day).

I'm guessing because cartoon characters don't age and can show up for a gig as long there's a pencil nearby.

Arrested Development will never be coming back to tv. You couldn't assemble that cast again.

two or three years ago, i think you could.  now, not a chance.  but for a movie, i believe you could get everyone on board for that.

Quite true.  That's why they'll have to assemble a new one.

Michael: Shephard Smith
GOB:  Sean Hannity
Lindsey:  that morning show blonde
Buster: Neil Cavuto
Tobias:  Glenn Beck
Lucille:  Greta Van Sustern
George Bluth:  Bill O'Reilly
George Michael: Steve Doocy
Maebe:  pretty sure they can get that actress back
Narrator: Brit Hume

I don't know if that is a good fit for Huckabee.  I was thinking the guy from Fox & Friends who isn't Doocey would be a good Steve Holt.
