why reunite only to end up embarassing themselves and their fans?
"You want me to recognize you and I won't. I won't acknowledge you! I deny you. So you keep begging and begging. The door is slammed on you. I want nothing to do with you. You will die unrecognized by me."

Well, It seems like a good time to cash in on one's indie cred, right?

I'm not gonna hold my breath waiting for that My Bloody Valentine reunion, unless the other members get Michael Anthony to replace Kevin Shields.

Chris L, c'mon! You know MVB are going to re-unite, just like Chinese Democracy is coming out this year! These are sure things.

If I was still in middle school, the Rage Against The Machine reunion would sound good.
Who ever heard of a dinosaur with a head full of grease and an out of tune guitar?

I was never a big fan of "Rage." I grew up in Miami, surrounded by Cuban exiles. Let me tell you, they don't view Che as a liberator. Don't bring him up. I had this one friend who saw some über-gringo walk by with a Che shirt, and she would not shut up. "The Butcher of la Cabaña" this, "murdering bastard" that. On and on and on. I agree, though. He doesn't deserve to be idolized, and Rage Against the Machine turned me off with their use of Che iconography.

They turned me off with their terrible music.

Best use of RATM: as background music for a skinhead trashing his Jewish roommate's half of the dormroom in "Higher Learning".
