Maybe you should go watch a lifetime movie and let yourself cry. It might be good for you, I think. Then provide a detailed report here about your feelings. Make sure you close the blinds and lock your doors so that no one catches you.

I could never stop laughing at a Lifetime movie long enough to cry, if my tear-ducts still worked, which I have to suspect they don't.

I'm thinking more a move into "House" territory.

P.S.  I vote we put "Judging" as the positive side of the analysis.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Why on earth should "judging" be negative anyway?

Say, Dave, why not create categorical variables with one side of the scale negative (judging) and the other side of the scale positive.

I could be that my sublime ignorance of the science of statistics is leading me to impute unfairly negative connotations to the word "negative" in the quotation above.

I understood the stats stuff, but I still wanted Judging to be "positive."  Heh heh.

I didn't mean negative as in "bad", but just a direction, like left or right. I feel Buffcoat was trying to make a joke.

I am intrigued by Julie's suggestions. Has sparked me to determine who is the most "typical" of all FOT, in terms of Myers-Briggs assessment. Here's what I get; most typical near the top, least typical near the bottom.

I've spent some quality time with yesno.  We're the most typical? I think you forgot to carry the 1.

This is too fun! I would say I am a pretty typical person, which explains my nearness to the top of the list.

I think so, too.  And I actually did know that you were using "negative" as a direction.  But, given its other, more common meaning, who knows what subconscious motives guided your decision to assign "judging" to the negative side of the scale?

DfK, how about correlating the results here with those in the political spectrum thread?

I think typical in FOT terms doesn't translate into real-world typical.

Since I'm not a comic book artist or a webmaster, I don't think I'd really be able to represent FOTs at the UN properly.

Please don't talk about subconscious motives on the weekend! It's the only time I get away from them.
