Auntie Christina, I so appreciated your posting that great photo of Harry in front of United Cigars. That was our block and our lives revolved around that place. Little story about that after this:
In the meantime, Andy and I were up in Seattle and met some fine folks and FOT at the Pop Conference which is held at the Experience Music Project. Among the people I photographed is FOT Nick Minichino who was one of the youngest presenters. Little story: When I got kicked out (by my mom) at 16, I went to United Cigars, the great old guys who ran it at the time gave me a dime so I could call someone from the bank of payphones that used to be inside there. I found another place to live with that dime until I could afford to rent my own place back on Christopher St the following year.
