I saw the video of Sgt. Pepper for the first time on VH1 this morning...was confused and remained so until I got home and read this thread.

I really love how well put together this is, which is unsurprising for Harmonix. I just really wish it was integrated with normal Rock Band, I don't want to have to swap out when we feel like playing some Beatles.  Not a dealbreaker (", ladies!"), though.

Paul McCartney had footage of the game backing him when I saw him in concert. It was fantastic.

Set list revealed. Alarmingly low on Revolver, but the inclusion of Hey Bulldog and Good Morning Good Morning helps.

I can't believe they don't have "She Said She Said"... that would of been amazing on drums. Also, what about "Rain"?

why can't they make this so it hooks up to a real keyboard or guitar?

Well, for drummers or singers it can definitely serve as a teaching tool. I mean, I'm not even sure there's ANYTHING that can serve as good of a harmony teaching tool as the harmony trainer that uses a synthesizer to demonstrate the selected harmony part. And while you won't learn how to use a full kit, you learn enough drum patterns and rhythms to get the fundamentals down.

I think they're getting people to make video guitar lessons for their website, and I'm sure they have people regularly thinking of a way to make the guitar more realistic. They'll probably get a real guitar to plug in and play the notes before they could improve the plastic one. Even then, though, it'd be sort of limiting. It can measure pitch, but it can't measure where your fingers are.

Is it wrong that I sold a couple Beatles records to be able to come up with the cash to buy this game?

Revolver and Sgt. Peppers, both US Stereo? I still have the mono Ebbetts versions on CD which is all I really listen to anyway, the one time where I prefer CD to vinyl. I figured it was worth it to get this.

According to Wikipedia, the remaining tracks from Abbey Road will be available in October, Sgt. Peppers in November and Rubber Soul in December. So, it looks like everything will be made available over time.

I prefer the H1N1 version of Rock Band.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!
