during Andrew WK's early days, i couldnt stand the guy (it was the song).  however, after reading articles about him and seeing him on television, he's grown on me by leaps and bounds. 

in fact, i think he'd make an excellent FOT.  weird?

Andrew WK is awesome and his music is awesome. I Get Wet was one of the 5 best albums of 2001, which was otherwise a pretty shitty year both for America and for rock music.  His later stuff is a little more uneven.  Still he manages to do energetic fun music without slipping into pastiche.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: After seeing WK live at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA back in 2002, I will be a fan forever.  I don't know if I've ever been to a concert where a guy/band gave so much to the crowd.
