Santa came early this year, bearing awesome gifts and kind words. BeTheBoy, you're the tops! Two books, one being The Big Con which I've actually been told to read and never have, and then this:

...which I had no idea even existed. What a perfectly suited gift! WFMU art is something I hold a special fondness for, both in seeing and doing, and this book in particular opens a whole new dimension of that.So thank you! Now I just have to wait until this book about con men helps me grift one of my drawings into the next WFMU art book, and I'm set for life.

Since it looks like I'm the first one to get theirs, I'd also like to add my thanks for the bonus gift of efficiency!

That book rules. I love Andy Breckman's essay about Don McLean.

Wow, that got there fast. I hope you like them. They are the least I can do for a top notch guy.

I will send my gift(s?!) out this week. It will most likely take some time to get to my recipient - you never know with these things, especially around this time of year. Sweden to America (SPOILER ALERT) can take anywhere from a couple of days to two weeks.

Dear Secret Santa: I left home for winter break earlier than I expected to, and I'll be in Toronto longer than I originally thought I'd be, too, so you've got some extra time. I'm not home until Jan. 3rd!

By that same token, if you send me something and I haven't posted about it, it's probably not because I'm a totally insensitive jerk.

I got bag full of teeth and a torn note that said "More to come..." signed by 'Chuck In The Truck' in the mail yesterday. I should probably call the police, right?
This may be the year I will disappear.

I received a festive box in the mail today with stickers on it! I'm home with the parents right now. My mom told me I can't open it until Christmas. IT BETTER BE FAMILY-FRIENDLY. HARD G, SECRET SANTA!!

I am terrified that my Santee will not like the old-person gift I have acquired/assembled for them. I am losing every bit of my lustre!

I am looking forward to receiving a gift from a non-samir FOT. Don't get me wrong, samir did a top-notch job both times.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I gave in to temptation and opened it up! I'm glad I did, because there were delicious holiday cookies! Also: a package of pens, several composition notebooks, and a couple of wacky packages stickers! The cookies are going in my tummy, and the school supplies are going with me to Chapel Hill.

Thank you, Keith!

Just pretend it's a Chanukah present and then opening it this week is legit!

My package is all ready to ship out, except that a key component has not yet arrived, so hopefully by the end of the week.

My pleasure - thought the school supplies might come in handy ...

Awesome gifts Laurie! I have the Conan approved 2010 Extraordinary Chickens calender hanging already. The Mr. T talking pocket keychain has been used many times already- I don't think my wife likes that one. That is so going to work with me on Thursday.  And of course Wildwood, NJ which I'll watch sometime this week. Thanks!
