I just got mine today! Thanks, Erech! This is a man who is paying attention. I mentioned my interest in home brewing in a thread months ago, and bam! he sends me the Complete Joy of Home Brewing.

It's the next logical step for me in my exploration of all things fermented. I've gotten pretty good at bread, and dipped my toes into kim chi, and next up is beer. I'm really looking forward to getting into this.

I sent out my santee's package a few days ago. According to my package tracking, it's reached the USA. It's in the USPS's hands now.

Hard as this is to believe, I think you are supposed to (try to) eat the kim chi, though granted, it probably will kill any sort of toe fungus it touches when you're dipping.

Good lord I have been swamped with work lately (I work retail) and have a REALLY bad feeling I won't get my gift out before the 25th. Maybe a Christmas miracle is in store for me, but apologies in advance to my Secret Santa if you don't get it by the big day! IT IS COMING THOUGH!

I'm not sure if this was clear or not, but if you've received your gift and there's no indication who your SS is, post something here along the lines of 'hey thanks, got the prezzie etc etc' so the SS knows it arrived ...

If you haven't sent it yet for whatever reason, put your name on it/in it so the recipient knows!

If you want contact info for your SS, since not all of them post here, let me know & I'll send it on ...
