I watched about four minutes of it the other night and if it wasn't supposedly reality it would be my new favorite comedy. I got a little bit nauseous and had to turn it off when one girl attempted to end an argument by walking across a room and repeating the phrase "Whatever, look at me". That is a height of superficialism that I try to shield my children from, like a real live Bratz doll.
To be fair: It was an argument about looks, or was it not?

Will MTV manage to milk some gravitas out of this particular situation?

Not originally but I think all discussions/arguments on that show are going to end up being about appearances.
You look like a really healthy Arthy Lang.

I set this to tape this week.  Heaven help me.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

I've never felt as embarrassed as when I heard Bill Simmons say that the North Shore of Boston, where I grew up, was very similar to the Jersey Shore on his podcast.
