I have never turned on a caller as fast as I did on Andy from Bath. In the span of 3 calls I went from "He's doing his best" to "Heave-Ho".

If I recall, he always had to go back to his American accent to make his calls interesting.

AFB always called in via Skype on his iPhone, so the connection was never great. Tom had a hard time understanding his accent anyway, and the phone problems only exacerbated the situation. Ultimately, Tom only let him talk if he spoke in his version of an American accent, which was absolutely wonderfully horrible.

It does sound like if he got past the technical glitches things might have taken a different turn. Anyhow coulda woulda shoulda as they say.
