Listening to the 7.21.09 episode and forgot that in addition to the call from the guy in line at the Mighty Boosh and the guy who was thinking about following Tom on Twitter, there is more saddest/most delusional caller potential. I throw Realize into the ring for his terrible impersonation of Tom. It is around 1:33 mark on the podcast

I wasn't delusional. I knew it was terrible but it was certainly sad.

Worst Caller: Doc Hammer from the Venture Bros (Love the show, but that was Grade-A douchery)

Saddest Caller: The Smashing Pumpkins tattoo girl

Most Delusional Caller: Spike. Weirdos Exposed anyone?

Best Caller: FONPR4LIFE

Best Call: Brian from Brooklyn w/ the Jet magazine story OR his "going south" story about him, his sister, a cop, a faked illness and a trip to the hospital (I am 90% sure this as the same dude)

Rookie of the Year: Eric the Tombstone Kid

Best Heave-Ho: Jen Kirkman's husband

Best Guest: PFT - Gathering of the Juggalos OR James in Studio

Best Threat on Tom's Life: Rabid B. Hatchetman and the Juggalape

Sorry Reeleyes.  Delusional might have been a tad strong.  I want nominees that are different than the usual suspects.  Saddest call works for me ;)

How about best bad Tom impression (mine was better than Wally's).

seriously, this is the hardest... 2009 had so many rich rich moments.

Worst Caller: Doc Hammer

Saddest Caller Best Turf Out (aka "The Hesh Award"): Spike and the "Weirdos Exposed" debacle

Most Delusional Caller: Andy from Baff

Best Caller: Fredricks from New Port Richey (Easily)

Best Call: Larry Da Perv 5/12/09 (Patton Oswalt/Amiee Mann Episode)

Rookie of the Year: Caleb from Brooklyn

Best Heave-Ho: TIE: Total sleeper but, 3/31/09 an unnamed caller calls in at the last minute to ask Tom what was his favorite moment of the Delocated season finale (DIG IT UP...it's incredible) b/w Jen Kirkman's husband.

Best Guest: Jon "Drac Search" Glaser

Best Threat on Tom's Life: Carl inadvertently turning the control board into a time bomb.

Best Mike Show Call: Greg X-Mas Time (from the band Hayride; makes fun of every caller preceding him and then tells the best childhood trauma story)

Tom, is it alright if I too nominate the "Gathering Of the Juggalos" as "best segment?"  ;)

Nice one. I'd thought about this but couldn't remember the guy's name. That guy should call again.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

That call had me falling off the couch, even just listening again now I started getting sore laughing at Patton and Tom imitate Larry Da Perv as a unicorn.

The obvious:

Best caller: Fredericks
Worst: Spike

I have to add Best Original Score / Musical Collaboration: Explosion / Piranha 3D (incredible)

There were so many insane amazing Best Show moments in 2009, but I have to throw Mike some credit for getting that Kevin Smith interview. That KILLED. Tom's interjections completely cracked me up.
