No no no no--the mental image of that big-headed dork in an erotic frenzy was never meant to occur in conjunction with a lush Modigliani nude.

You know what the worst part of it is?

It's an audiobook.

That is awesome Pidgeon.  From  Amazon:  "These 77 of mine include sonnets of praise, some erotic, some lamentations, some street sonnets and a 12-sonnet cycle of months. If anything here offends, I beg your pardon. I come in peace, I depart in gratitude.”—Garrison Keillor "

Not quite a purchase, but I went to my local library the other day. By the counter they have a spinner of Graphic Novels. I'm not particularly interested in comic books (I'm not against them, I just don't have the time/money to be interested), but something made me give it a spin. Guess what I saw. Tales Designed To Thrizzle vol 1!!!!! Kind of odd that something I would never have heard of if it were not because of The Best Show turning up in a small town library 4000 miles away. So I borrowed it.

I bought the Snake and Bacon collection and the Tales to Thrizzle collection after hearing Michael Kupperman last week and looking up some of his stuff.  I got the Steve Coogan collection for my birthday this year from my my ladyfriend (who was already a fan, so I guess the Best Show gets partial credit on this one), the Big Dipper collection. I feel like there's more, but I can't think of what they are right now.

Oh, I forgot about the DC Snipers. Never would've heard of them if not for Tom's support back in 2007.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

"I Don't Care About Your Band" - by Julie Klausner.

I read the entire thing while I was stranded at the LAX airport and I didn't even notice the five hour layover.

I not only got the Timewaster Letters (twice, as I gave away one copy) but the Timewaster Diaries on cd.  What fun!
Sounds like someone was working as a conduit for nature's natural vengeance.  Just like Jesus.  And some of the others.

Funny book. Funnier still when you get to hear his voice.
