I hated The Darjeeling limited the first time I saw it, but I love it now. I can't explain why and I'm by no means a film guy, but I like it. And I got it for $7.99 at Target last night.
Breakfast- I'm havin' a time
Wheelies- I'm havin' a time
Headlocks- I'm havin' a time
Drunk Tank- not so much a time
George St.- I'm havin' a time
Brenda- I'm havin' a time
Bingo- I'm havin' a time
House Arrest- I'm still havin' a time

Me too. Not hate but I wasn't crazy about it. Now I find it really charming. I like how it feels like an 'in between' film but is still so good.

I love that Violent J still doesn't understand that Twitter isn't the same as texting and at least once a week sends out a non-sequitur via Twitter that he clearly intended to be private.

I love that people like you are willing to take one for the team and sully your twitter feed with his tweet-farts! Then you pass the best ones on to us. *sniff* Thanks, cutout!

"An instrumental album is something I've been wanting to do for a long time," Dr. Dre told Vibe.com. 'I have the ideas for it. I want to call it 'The Planets.' I don't even know if I should be saying this, but fuck it. It's just my interpretation of what each planet sounds like." [...] He added: "I've been studying the planets and learning the personalities of each planet. I've been doing this for about two years now just in my spare time, so to speak. I wanna do it in surround sound. It'll have to be in surround sound for Saturn to work."

Best listening party ever?

Okay, but seriously, nobody is excited about that Dr. Dre album? It is just me? I am genuinely looking forward in it in a 70% non-ironic way. Come on! THE PLANETS!

...I will let it go now.

This does sounds spectacular, but I should clarify that the irony/non-irony ratio of my interest is more like 80/20.
I'm in my late 50's.

Yeah, it was nice to be reminded of that one. It's great. Does anyone have anything good to say about "Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World?" I never got around to it, but I do (really, really) like all his other movies.

Albert Brooks' "Real Life."

I couldn't finish it. It was pretty slow and light on laughs. Might have just been my mood at the time, but had expected something funnier.

I wish I was 50 so I could forward David Foster Wallace's commencement speech to people who didn't want to read it.
