The 1/23/2007 episode: August vs Petey, discussion of feuds, stories about Louisiana & Happy the Clown, crazy Patricia calls, Tom sings "Under Pressure, "I want my money back". For me one of the funniest shows from beginning to end.

I've been listening to Seven Second Delay a lot lately, and I've really fallen in love with it. I stopped listening back when they started bringing audiences into the studio; the desperation kinda turned me off. I guess the plan worked, though, because now all the live shows are fun and interesting. Some of the studio shows have been classics, too - the "Prank Phone Call" episode made me laugh a lot. "Rate Your Ken and Andy Encounter" was another good one.

A fun rediscovery was finding out just how big a jerk Andy is; I had totally forgotten. He really is a perfect asshole, God love him.

I don't like the live shows much at all.  Andy is at his best when he's backed into a corner with a failed concept, no phone calls, and no will to live.  But he might have bailed on the whole thing by now if he didn't have the live shows to coast through, so hey, it's his show.

I've been really enjoying 7SD this year too. I don't know how the live shows rank in the grand scheme, but I can say attending them at UCB the last few months has been really really fun. Any time any FOTs are going on a Wednesday night, I'm game.

I'm sure the live ones are fun if you're there.  I will say that there was one live show that ranked for me with the studio ones, and that was the one with Puppet Andy.  It was funny even being unable to see it, and the flickr photos afterward made it funnier.
