What about Paul Provenza?

Whoever is actually responsible for Peep Show, whether it's the two actors, the two writers or both groups sim-ul-tane-ous-ly.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

The best thing about Ricky Gervais is Stephen Merchant.
I loved Stephen Merchant in Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. Also in Extras, playing Gervais agent. Why isn't he more famous/have his own tv show.

Sort of off topic, but I'll never in a million years understand why GARTH MARENGHI'S DARKPLACE aired on Adult Swim to the apathy of almost everyone while something like THE MIGHTY BOOSH caught on. DARKPLACE is just so funny it didn't deserve to be ignored.

Just thinking about that song is making me laugh like a maniac. Matt Berry is so fucking good in that series. Everybody is.
Remember how he couldn't stop his leg?

Just the idea of Matt Berry's actor character apparently plugging his music by forcing in an entire music video into the script is hilarious.

Whenever Dean Learner reads a line I can't help but giggle. I also like that while he's an awful actor he's apparently a pretty fair rapper.

I like the skits where he gets... frustrated when a young lady tells him she's otherwise spoken for.

I'd agree for the first three, maybe four seasons, but it's been getting pretty dire. I haven't seen all of the newest season yet, but the first episode didn't exactly fill me with longing desire to see the rest of them.

I watched the last few seasons recently and enjoyed them.  I've gone back and started watching the first couple of seasons again.  Comedy, of course, is a matter of taste, but I liked seasons 4-7 just fine.

Series 7 started off weak, admittedly but picked up steam and reached a good level, I thought.

Mr. Comedy himself, Anderson Cooper, had a cameo on SNL last night. I'm guessing Brian Williams wasn't available.

I just watched all seven seasons of Peep Show over the course of about a week and can report that the program made me laugh out loud more than anything I've seen recently.  It may have lost some steam in the later seasons, but it's still funnier than most of what's out there.

I watched seasons 3-7 in a week and a half, Lubec.  This was my thinking, as well.

I think we can all agree that Ricky Gervais was damn funny last night.
