I thought this was about Kevin Smith's psychotherapy sessions...

Don't put John C. Reilly in just anything.

It's easier than you thought.  Just copy and paste the youtube link alone.

Hey, imagine how big a book and movie Moneyball would have been if the f------ A's had actually managed to win something instead of rolling over for the Yankees again and again?

Wasn't that just Moneyball beating Moneyball, Jr. and Goliath, Jr. beating Super Goliath?

Then Goliath, Jr. whupped up on Moneyball and made sure everything made sense.

Baseball is a crime.  You can't have pure capitalism in an otherwise completely regulated system.  Moneyball-era Oakland is the (ugh) "exception that proves the rule."

Nice job last night, Tampa.

FREAKS IN LOVE :: A Quarter Century in Underground Rock with ALICE DONUT (Official Trailer)

I am looking forward to this, even if it does appear to have four hours of Jello Biafra.

First time I saw Alice Donut was at Foufounes Electriques in Montreal back in 1990. I was right in front of the stage.

Anyway, I had an afro at the time and Tomas' first order of business upon coming onto the stage was to pull my hair...HARD.  The behavior scared me, then angered me, and finally fascinated me.

A few songs in, a drunk guy bellyflopped onto the stage from the balcony.  At first he lay motionless, but then he stood up and started singing emphatically into the mic with Tomas.   Plus the band was tight as hell.  A very memorable show all around.

Oh, and I used to see the drummer/trombonist at the Park Slope food coop on a regular basis.
