disturbing but clever editing/film making
not for the squeamish

none of that was real

I loved this.  My only complaint is that there was no blood spurting from his arms when he was putting the noose around his neck and pouring on the gasoline.

When the explosion came, I jumped (then laughed):  I had forgotten about the homemade bomb.

Talk about thorough!

Aaaaah, screw you guys!  Have you ever been to Long Island?  Staten Island?  Or even RHODE Island?  How do you know these guys aren't from one of THOSE places??
Yeah - fine - these guys are quite possibly from Jersey - but so was Sonic Youth - so was Debbie Harry - so was Sandra Dee, Connie Francis, Whitney Houston, Robert Blake, Jeaneane Garofalo, Linda Hunt, Bill Maher, Grover Cleveland, Bebe Neuwirth (!), Kelly Ripa, Eva Marie Saint, Jon Stewart, Loretta Swit, Jack Warden, Flip Wilson, Glen Danzing, Judy Blume, Allen Ginsberg, Paul Robeson, Count Basie, George Clinton, Lesley Gore, Ice-T (YES, Ice-T!), Kate Pierson, QUEEN LATIFAH, The Boss, Frankie Valli, Sarah Vaughn, Tom Verlaine, Dick Button, Michael Chang, Marvin Hagler, Derek Jeter, Carl Lewis, Phil Rizzuto, Mary Decker, Joe Theisman, Jersey Joe Walcott, Buzz Aldrin, Justice William Brennan, Andrea Dworkin, Alfred Kinsey, Martha Stewart, Zippy the Pinhead, MY MOM, and Tom Scharpling!  JUST TO NAME A FEW.
AAAAND, like it or not, if you grew up here, you have more of a claim to being from "the New York area," than all the johnny-come-latelies who emigrated from Montreal or Omaha or wherever, started their kick-ball leagues in Brooklyn, and have the nerve to look down on people who access Manhattan from the OTHER side.
Lame.

The reason I assumed they were from NJ is because of the description on the youtube page, which reads in full "NJ guidos take a trip to the mecca of summer fun... D'Jais in Belmar."

Believe me, I didn't post the video to hate on Jersey - I posted because it's funny. I have been to Jersey a bunch of times, but not for awhile (I lived in CT for a few years as a kid). The little I know about NJ seems great. I also wouldn't want to make the negative stereotype because I'm sick of a similar stereotype about my home state of Ohio, in which people from the coasts assume everyone in my state is an inbred, morbidly obese pig farmer walking the streets in bare feet with a piece of hay in his or her teeth, pausing only now and again to vote sight unseen for whatever Republican is on the ballot.

Seriously, though, the video IS funny, right?

but can anyone give me a clue of the software used to do those effects?

I've used a program called MemoriesonTV that can be directed to perform Ken Burns' style pans around still images, fades, cuts, and a host of other effects.  Then of course you can make your own audio track, or throw in some music as a background.

This guy's first video didn't seem to employ much effects beyond those, I think.

Can you even imagine the stereotypes of Knoxvillians held by practically everyone else? Perhaps a photo log is in order. Maybe I will start a thread today.

I really don't want to side with the Boston Celtics on anything ever, especially since they ganked Garnett from the Wolves, but the fact that this is uploaded by someone named "kobebryantlakershard" calls for a "Beat L.A." chant.
