Did you view the original YouTube page? They did that because they found out he snuck a look at his present before he was supposed to, so they took the 360 out of the box and put some clothes in it. Apparently they wound up giving him the console after all that. It's mean, but I was similarly duped as a child when my grandparents hid a Lego set inside a clothing box under some sweaters.

Yeah. I wanted to wait until a little after I posted the video to explain it. I don't know if that video description was put it just to avoid death threats towards the family. Either way, whatever the case, now that this video is viral... you KNOW this kid will now be receiving more XBOX 360s than he'll know what to do with. I've seen various sites saying they were going to try and track him down to send him one, and I'm sure people who know the family in real life have already hooked him up. So, take a deep breath, Dave.
