Thanks for that one, Buffcoat.

Hey, do you or Omar know what's up with Darren's Dad, Edgar?  I could swear he was barged-to-death a few years back, but then he showed up in the most recent Darren Call ("The Guise"/Bin Laden).  At least I think he showed up.  I couldn't tell whether Darren said he was talking about The Guise with Tom's Dad or with his Dad.

*Another* Darren call.  Truly, we are all blessed.  Also, I'm beginning to think Darren is S&W's second favorite character after PBR.

Anyway, in this call we learned that Darren is back together with Sheila Larson. So, not much on the family front, but it's something. I'm still waiting to hear about whatever happened between Sheila and Dom, post-2007.  Did they break off their engagement, or did Darren make good on his barging promises?  Of course, just because someone is barged, doesn't mean they're dead (see: Ploppleton, Edgar).

And Wurster confirmed on Twitter that not only did Darren recover from the non-fictional quicksand on Tuesday, he also managed to fit in a love making session with Sheila afterwards.

Last week's call from Newbridge resident and self-proclaimed "Mr. First" Ron Furst (www.furstfirst.com) briefly referenced Giles Kern, yet another Maurice Kern nephew, as well as Del Strauss, Trent L.'s much older brother, who apparently has been active since the 1950s and is "The Father of the Exploitation Film."

I have updated the first post on this thread accordingly.

I've updated this thread's first post to reflect the amazing, hilarious, pot-addled expansion of the Prefontaine family.

First post updated to include the latest addition to the massive, incredibly male-heavy Monroe Clan... Blaze!

For those counting, there are now *eight* Monroe brothers, all of whom make incredibly poor decisions, have a desire to be media stars, and generally sound exactly the same.

I'm updating this thread with all the new Newbridge names dropped in last night's Skyp Dworkin call.

We learned that Skyp is Barry's younger brother and that their grandfather is named Skyler.

Also, Skyp referenced the *18* Monroe Brothers (though, I suppose, future calls could retcon this as a mere hyperbole on the park of Skyp).

Finally, Skyp mentioned Thaddeus von Trimble and Nathan von Trimble, two relatives of Timmy; as well as Theodore Harrups and Nathan (there's that name again) Harrups, relatives of Officer.

I'm still looking for a definitive spelling on the Harrups/Harrobs/Harropps/Harrubs last name.

I think they mentioned his name is "Skip" but he spelled it "Skyp" for his drug-addled white power album.

Oh, you're right, I'll change it.

Do you remember what was said about Shelia Larson's real/other surname?

First post now updated with all the new info from Darren's latest call.

We learned that he has another brother, Del.  And a nephew, Herbert. Whether this is Del or Chief's kid is unknown.

Also, we learned of a Rod Dalrymple, O.M.'s nephew, and Darlene Larson, who's possibly Sharon's sister, or sister-in-law.

I've updated the first post with some new info from the two most recent calls (i.e. celebrity memorabilia guy and Ross Fryhinkle).

We learned of another Monroe family member, "Bort." We don't know if he's one of the core brothers, or just an uncle or cousin. Also, JW may simply have been confused and meant to say "Mort." Morton Monroe is an established Monroe, being the brother of the family patriarch, Frank.

Also, Ross Fryhinkle mentioned two new FEMALE Newbridgians -- Pam and Winifred Dinkins.

Pam is Mother 13 frontman Corey Harris's Mom (Corey's birth name was Corey Dinkins), and Winifred is his grandmother.

The mega-Wurster call from last week, wherein he played Darren, Gene Simmons, PBR, Marky Ramone, Danzig, Bryce, and Cyrus "Old Man" Dalrymple, featured one, partial reference to Danzig's sister's daugher, his niece, "Julie."

Why is this interesting? Well, earlier it has been established that Danzig's sister married Officer Harrupps. So is Julie his child? Julie Harrupps?  Or does Danzig have another sister? For now, I'm adding Julie Harrupps.

In Glenn's original call to the program circa the Mayubernatorial race, he discusses his niece .... Tina!

That's hilarious. My head hurts trying to figure out how to reconcile Julie with Tina.

Larger question: Should we count "celebrities" among the Newbridge families? If so, then we'll have to add all the Ramones...
