I'm pretty pumped up about tonight's show at Terminal 5 - F@cked Up, OFF!, and Dinosaur Jr. featuring interview by Henry Rollins.
That's just the tip of the ice cube.

I just got a cheap ticket for Archers of Loaf Sunday at Webster Hall, from Stubhub.  Thankfully the Music Hall of Williamsburg show sucked up all of the hype and people are dumping tickets for the Webster Hall show like yesterday's trash.

I'm going to see Art Brut at the MHoW tonight.  I am excited.

Anyone going to the Dinosaur Jr show at the Electric Factory tomorrow night? I just got a free ticket, so I'll be there. 8)

I wish.  They put on a pretty fine show tonight in NYC. Got there late and missed Off! but made sure to see Fucked Up's set and holy cow, it was amazing. Not to mention Tom himself jumping into the furious, but loving, mosh pit.  Some dimwit threw a shoe on the stage while Rollins was interviewing J, Murph, and Lou, which made for a humorous moment as Rollins threateningly chewed out the shoe-tosser.

Enjoy it!

Did you go? Just got back from the show at Webster Hall and had a great time. They really haven't lost a step. Matt Gentling also made a Jon Wurster reference toward the end...

Drove 4 hours to see Yo La Tengo in Minneapolis on Friday. Got to say hello to Ira for a minute. The show was so strong, I left completely pulverized.

The Rollins interview at the Dinosaur Jr show was a waste of time. I couldn't hear a thing but my friend up front said it was akward as hell and after a few seconds people were already demanding music.

Might go see Fountains of Wayne later this summer.

I did, they were rock solid.  And they played "All Hail the Black Market"!  Now bring on those Merge reissues.

Here's the interview from Terminal 5:  http://youtu.be/jWK_RjXVSx0

Complete with the threats to the shoe thrower and the unnecessary applause at the mention of the year 1985.

Has anyone seen Thurston Moore solo? I am going to his show in August mainly because I've been itching to see Meg Baird live. Is he good solo, I've been into his solo albums but haven't heard the new one. I hear Beck produced it.

I saw Hall and Oates at Summerfest.  It was fun.
Sounds like someone was working as a conduit for nature's natural vengeance.  Just like Jesus.  And some of the others.
