Apparently some dude JUST added over 100 songs to the editable Spotify playlist that I made back in 2011 for the musical sets played during The Best Show. Didn't think anyone was even looking at it anymore, BUT I GUESS I WAS WRONG. You can find it here: http://open.spotify.com/user/123010029/playlist/6yBIcBhUX3zQ0DhxIhVpb3

No idea if these are in any particular order, since they appear to have been added all at once. If anyone feels like going through them to check and reorder FEEL FREE TO DO SO! I will not stop you.

And thanks to "James M.," whom/where ever you may be.

I am listening to the shows in order from the beginning and am really hoping someone can point me to playlists from the earliest shows? Thanks!

Some other dude named Jared has an almost 1200 song playlist that's still being updated of just the WFMU show's playlists. https://open.spotify.com/user/1224693779/playlist/32dyqfv10Vh3R5WTkJxP7E

I don't want to start a new thread for this so I guess I'll just ask this here, but can anyone tell me what the song at the end of the 8/18/2009 show? It's at the last 4 or so minutes of the show.  There's a refrain of "eat your pie before you die" and googling the lyrics is coming up with nothing.

It's called "Pop It" by Herman Brood & His Wild Romance. It was the first song of Evan "Funk" Davies' show that night. You can listen to the whole show here - http://wfmu.org/playlists/shows/32630

Herman Brood has/had traction in the US? Good to know.

Sadly not enough for me to find a copy of this song anywhere online, other than on that stream of The Evan "Funk" Davies Show. I guess I need to fork over 20 bucks to buy a hard copy of the album.

I'm a fan, I love this song, Saturday Night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mEjmWnihrc

But yeah, you almost never see his records in the shops, though if you watch John Carpenter's "Prince Of Darkness" you'll see a giant Herman Brood cutout in the record shop that they run through trying to get away from demon zombies.

Nice, love that song too. His biggest hit.

I should watch that movie sometimes. Also because it's the only John Carpenter '80s movie I haven't seen yet.
