I was watching 'Peep Show' and was in the middle of the last season when Netflix pulled it. Honestly it felt like the show ratcheted up the cringe factor as it progressed to the point where I was slowing down in watching it, but now I'm annoyed I didn't complete it.

I just finished a full rewatch two weeks ago.  This is my favorite show of all time.  The later seasons are better the second time through because you know (or at least generally recollect) what horrors are coming.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

As a courtesy, could you please not post the link that takes you directly to watching it. My Strange Addiction: Glass Eating is on my recently watched list now.

Peep Show is one of my favorites too. The region 2 DVDs can be found pretty reasonably on amazon marketplace. There's a funny moment in the commentary where a writer jokes about going to some young comedians' show and stealing all their material, and then David Mitchell is like "You know, that is an idea..." which is hilarious because it's so out of character for him.

If you're a fan of Monty Python, there's a documentary about the making of a new Graham Chapman animated movie using his recorded autobiography.

I had very low expectations for it as it is a SyFy Channel joint based on a series of novels (which I have never read), but I started watching the "The Dresden Files" TV series last night and it's entertaining so far. I found the writing and acting very good for a basic cable monster of the week show.

'Queen of Versailles' turned out to be pretty great: you'll start off thinking it's just another frustrating study of obscene wealth/tastelessness, but as they start feeling the squeeze you get to see how ill-equipped they are to deal with anything outside their bubble.

Has anyone here seen House of Cards? I watched the entire first season over the course of two days. Unfortunately, I came away slightly underwhelmed. The acting is solid, and the writing, while a bit spotty, is also pretty well done. The plotting of the show, however, strains the limits of credulity. That's where it loses me. One can only suspend their disbelief so much.

What exactly was controversial about COMPLIANCE? Was it how funny it was considering the content? Or how bad the acting was? Or how terrible the ENTIRE movie was except for the final 30 seconds (which were super great)?

I think I've mentioned this before (a search turned up nothing), but there's a great Aussie crime show called Underbelly that was put up on Netflix a few months ago. It's all based on true stories (each series is set in a different decade/city), and the second season might be one of my favorite season of anything ever. It's a little trashier than The Wire, a lot smarter than most American crime procedurals, and it is very graphic for broadcast TV (lots of cursing/gore/nudity), so there's that!

I'm also elated that Snuff Box is back on Netflix streaming, which might be the most insane British TV I've ever watched. Rich Fulcher and Matt Berry are so genius in that show...

edit: oh, and Safety Not Guaranteed and Bunk were both added this week!

I started an episode of House of Cards this week but turned it off because I was BORED.

I thought Safety Not Guaranteed was okay. The ending was ridiculous.

The Imposter is really, really good. I love the last line (or one of the last lines) "The Imposter" says in the movie:

***SPOILER***

"I don't care about anyone but myself. Fuck everyone else."
