Am I right in thinking that Tom & Jon get a little more personal benefit if the S&W stuff is ordered through www.stereolaffs.com as opposed to Amazon?

At any rate, when I ordered directly from Stereolaffs, there were a few extra goodies in the package that made it all worthwhile...

Norm Macdonald's recent "Me Doing Standup" is excellent.
Don't buy "Feelin Kinda Patton"--get 222 instead.
David Cross's "Shut Up You Fucking Baby" is a classic.

Both Greg Giraldo albums (Good Day To Cross a River and Midlife Vices) are excellent. I'd also recommend Anthony Jeselnik's Shakespeare, Eddie Pepitone's A Great Stillness, Dana Gould's Fun House, and Rory Scovel's Dilation.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I don't recommend the Baron Vaughn album (I thought it was dull and that he relied too heavily on singing his punchlines). Todd Barry's From Heaven doesn't really have new stuff on it, from what I recall, so you can leave that off your list.

As an FOT, I think you'll really like Correctamundo by Team Submarine (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/correctamundo!/id391839354).

I enjoy Maria Bamford and also liked Jen Kirkman's Self Help.

David Cross's It's Not Funny is also a favorite. I'd skip Bigger and Blackerer.

Laurie Kilmartin's Five Minutes to Myself is really funny. Lots of very dark material about being a single parent in her 40s.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

While you're at it, check out his standup on Netflix Watch Instantly. The opening bit about death is, in my opinion, incredible.

A bootleg cassette of David Cross from the spring of '02 recorded in Baltimore. 9/11 and the Catholic Church sex scandal are still raw "whoa" moments.

oops, sorry, the thread is about recommends not favorites. Maron's "Final Engagement" is pretty funny and raw.

Man, that Anrew Daly album is great. I don't know how many times I've listened to the "Life of the Party, Inc." bit.

I haven't heard much of Andrew Daly's standup, but I put that album on there going by this alone:

Andrew Daly is a genius

I listened to it three times in a row.

Nine Sweaters might be my favorite comedy album ever.
