Battlestar Galactica

Just started watching this with lady buffcoat.  I can't wait!  From what I remember hearing, the series just keeps getting better and better, leading to perhaps the most warmly received finale in television history.

I thought it was pretty great, but there were just too many damn episodes. If they'd done 10-13 hours per season instead of 26, it would have been all killer. There's some goofy stuff in it, but there was also a lot of pretty bold and risky stuff.

It's my favorite drama of all-time. I'm ridiculously biased about it and unable to view it objectively.

I liked the first couple seasons, but bailed around the time people were hating on the finale. I've been meaning to go back, but it's fallen behind other things in the Netflix queue...

Through Ep 9 now and still liking it a good bit.

In my memory, it rarely disappointed and I felt the stakes were high for the characters. That made it easy for me to buy into it.  I never bought into it during its run b/c I thought it was hype but I eventually became a 10-episode-per-day-on-streaming true believer.
