Don't even joke about Nardwuar's death. Didn't Tom teach you guys anything about class?

The loss of Best Show, Nardwuar, Night People, and Solid Gold Hell puts a serious dent in my distractions from reality... which is a actually a serious problem. Tuesday nights, 9 o'clock are something me and my dog look forward to. Most nights Christer Slim gets decent 1 mile stroll. Tuesdays are extended and start precisely at 8:20 CST. If it is a particularly good show we might walk to Hale Park, where I can't take him during the day because he bit a kid's butt there back in August. Sometimes we even venture to other parks further out. He'll always get a nightly walk, but I can't guarantee that an iTunes full of Hank Wood and the Hammerheads and Volcano Suns will elicit extended strolls throughout the neighborhood. Best Show has taken him to Stars and Stripes Park, Normandy Park, Minuteman Park, Lawler Park, Wentworth Park, even that crummy Nottingham Park. Christer has never been to Vittum Park, but he will likely take that long walk on the 17th.

Big ups to Nardwuar... and Tom, Mike, Wurster, all of the regular callers, some of the irregular callers, many of the "bad" callers, and the fill-in hosts. You folks make life more enjoyable.

Not really.
Ever do nothing and gain nothing from it?
Ever feel stupid and then know that you really are?
Ever think you're smart and then find out you aren't?
Ever play the fool and then find out that you're worse?

You honestly sound like you are going through some stuff right now and I sincerely hope you're getting the help you appear to need. That said, I am in an airport lounge for elite flyers right now so I think it's pretty safe to say that I have more class in my psoriasis flakes than you have in your whole body. RIP Narward and all the callers Tom hoped (with class, apparently) would die in car fires throughout the years. Big ups to the innocent child your dog attacked.

Braggin', bro?

"That said," if it's the Indianapolis SkyClub, tell those ladies hi for me! I breakfasted there many 6AMs before they canceled that particular redeye and before we got the year-round nonstop.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

There is a theory that dogs reflect their owner's personality.

Less sad about the end of Nardwuar for two reasons: 1) there's still a podcast via CITR, right?  2) during his last Ian MacKaye interview, Ian so effectively deconstructed Nardwuar's persona that I've found it hard to listen ever since.

Everyone's a critic, myself included. I've liked some of his music but generally Ian seems to me a humorless bore.  Nardwuar is a genuinely nice person that is trying to do entertaining interviews and Ian just isn't game for anything out of his boring comfort zone.  Gee who wouldn't love to listen to a reverent interview by Ian's rules an hear him respectfully about how he changed the world and reinvented the music industry and became a millionaire with $5 shows over a spot of tea.
