Wow.

The part that is cut off actually says"...rld by 0%". I think there may be a "!?" after the word Duff as well.

If you have Netflix, you can stream the episode "The Opportunists," which is part of the "Life of Mammals" series, which features raccoons quite prominently.

They are totally unafraid of people-- I used to do a paper route, and I'd run into them all the time while I was throwing papers at houses early in the morning, and they were completely indifferent to my presence.

I'm not sure why, but I really feel like listening to some Helen Reddy right now.

We had one that hung out in our front yard for a while, but my wife was convinced it was rabid or otherwise inflicted with a mind-altering illness.

A couple I know was terrorized by a raccoon a couple of years ago.  One morning, it showed up and began prowling around their house and hurling itself at the sliding door.  When the husband timidly ventured out, the raccoon charged at him, and he fled back inside.  When the game warden they eventually turned to for help hauled the beast away, he said it was just youthful high jinks:  it was mating season, and the lad's thoughts had turned not-so-lightly to love.

I'd like to climb that thing, then just disappear inside of it.  Like in that Woody Allen movie.
